GSCF is a FinTech providing global supply chain financing solutions for large multinational corporations, their suppliers and their customer networks, as well as partnering with banks, financial institutions and funds, created by Blackstone in 2019 to facilitate the carve-out acquisition of a global technology firm’s trade finance platform. GSCF has built upon this acquisition and is currently operating in over 50 countries with more than 200 professionals.
A credit risk analyst student will support the local team to determine the creditworthiness and risk profile of a business by analyzing their financial data and deciding whether or not to extend them credit.
The credit risk student will conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, changed requests, refinancing and annual due diligence. It is also responsibility of the credit risk student to provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk, especially that involve a borrower’s ability to repay, supported by the local team.
The credit risk student will primarily focus on clients from Germany, Austria and Switzerland therefore active communication skills in German language (both verbal and written) are also required.
How You Will Make and Impact:
- Gathering information about clients
- Reading financial briefings
- Assessing, analyzing and interpreting complex financial information
- Keeping company credit exposure within set risk bearing limits
- Keeping knowledge of key issues up to date (for example legal, market risk and compliance issues)
- Making recommendations about procedures/policy changes
What You Bring to the Team:
- [Qualifications in business management, finance, accounting, or economics are required. Advance English and at least intermediary German proficiency are mandatory. Strong proficiency in MS Office; strong attention to details and ability to notice discrepancies in data, ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment, with varying degrees of supervision are also essential.]
- Individual of high integrity with self-confidence to see many sides of a problem and resolve issues with empathy and intelligence, plus ability to remain calm and rigid under pressure from sales management.
- Highly organized, analytical, and strategic thinker who can identify and solve problems in an efficient manner
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with experience of delivering executive presentation to upline management.
Working arrangements:
After the initial 2-3 weeks of extensive training, Hybrid format arrangements offered with max. 2 days home office. (Office location: Budapest, Váci út 99.)
